Description
Like all natural greases, Hoof Dressing hardens in winter because it contains no solvents or crude oil derivatives.*
Kevin Bacon have thus devised a winter formula that is 25% richer in oil to keep our Hoof Dressing soft and creamy even in colder weather.
*Used in some other brands:
- solvents give the grease a constant consistency but dry out the hoof wall.
- crude oil derivatives, such as paraffin and tar, clog the horn's pores, keep the hoof from breathing, and seal anaerobic bacteria in the foot, where they can proliferate and lead to thrush
Delivery
- Free delivery on orders over £100 on UK mainland
- Deliveries are sent via Royal Mail or Courier. See table below for charges
- We aim to despatch all orders by the next day. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday or over the weekend will be processed the following Monday
- If your order is delayed for any reason we will contact you via email or phone as soon as possible
- Orders made via the website can be collected in the store on the same day
